Automatic Friction Folders: MBM 306A
- A built-in micro-computer provides fully electronic setup, eliminating tedious manual adjustments. The folder will automatically sense, set and display the paper size loaded. Simply choose from six pre-programmed popular folds (“C,” “Z,” “Half,” “Gate,” “Double Parallel” and “Foldout”), or create and store custom folds by job (see images below)
- The 306A’s programmable memory stores fold and paper type for up to 18 different jobs making changeover is instant and accurate
- Clearly arranged fingertip controls and a lighted display make operation fast and simple
- Single sheet feeding is maintained automatically – even for different weights of paper
- System stops automatically when a preset count is reached or the entire paper stock is folded
- Load and unload paper from the same side of the machine for maximum throughput
- The dependable three-roller friction feed produces crisp and precise folds
- A test button folds two sheets for operator inspection
- An audible signal and visual alert notify the user in case of incorrect operation
- The fold table removes easily for compact storage
- Enclosed fold plates provide extremely quiet operation
- Process up to 192 sheets per minute (8 ½” x 11”, single fold)
- Handles paper sizes ranging from 3 ½” x 5” to 11” x 17” and paper weights ranging from 14 lb. to 70 lb.
